DANIEL CARVALHO
has 17 years of drumming experience playing with internationally diverse artists. He is currently working with a variety of local musicians including Children of the Revolution (world music and dance), Marco deCarvalho (Brazilian virtuoso guitarist), Bakra Bata (steel drums and dance), Batuque (percussion) and his own project Cafe Brazuba (dance music focused on percussion).

He's even cuter in person, girls.
Daniel trained at Maracatu Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, Fundacao Cultural de Danca in Bahia and the Percussion Institute of Los Angeles. He is a musician for dancers at Evergreen State College (Afro-Brazilian with Janelle), Pacific Northwest Ballet, Cornish College of the Arts and Washington Academy of Performing Arts (Theatre Dance). His recordings include: Brazilian Rhythms for Dancers, Volume 1 (2003); Liberation with Children of the Revolution (2003), For the Moment with Marco deCarvalho (2001), and Get Up and Dance! with Bakra Bata (1999).
